BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Chloe Rojas was named the Ohio Valley Conference adidas® Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league announced on Monday.
The junior libero has made a habit of leading all players in digs and this weekend was no exception to that. Her stellar performance featured 47 digs (5.88-per-set) and four service aces. Rojas racked up 19 digs against Belmont on Friday night and nearly missed her career-high (30) with 28 digs against Tennessee State on Saturday.
The St. Charles, Illinois native continues to hold the first place spot in digs in league-only action with 277 (5.77-per-set) and is maintaining the number four overall spot with 447 on the season.
The Colonels hit the road this weekend to begin their final road swing of the regular-season. They take on Jacksonville State on Friday, November 3 at 8 p.m. and Tennessee Tech on Saturday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m.
