Mobley picks up third OVC Newcomer of the week award

For the third time this season, Colonel running back Dy’Shawn Mobley earned the OVC Newcomer of the Week award.  Mobley rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns as Eastern Kentucky improved to 7-1 on the season with a 33-21 victory over Southeast Missouri. The transfer from Kentucky scored on a 1-yard run at the end of the first quarter, a 9-yard run early in the second quarter and added a 13-yard score with 2:21 to play to secure the victory. It marked the sixth time this season and third-straight game Mobley has reached the 100-yard plateau; he also caught four passes for 16 yards.  Mobley currently ranks 11th nationally in rushing touchdowns (11) and 15th in rushing (115.3 yards/game)
