BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Linebacker Leodis Moore III was chosen as the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Sunday.

Moore did it all against the Thundering Herd. The 5-foot-9, 190-pound native of Indianapolis, Indiana had seven tackles, one tackle for a loss, one interception and blocked an extra-point attempt.

Moore’s interception at the EKU 23 yard line in the second quarter stopped a Marshall drive and allowed the Colonels to stay within seven points.

Eastern Kentucky will play at Bowling Green State University on Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
