Re: RKS
From some of the ticket info it looked like maybe part of the upper level was going to be open again this year, but it's hard to know for sure. Does anyone have any info on that? I always enjoyed watching games from up there.colonelblitz wrote: ↑Mon Aug 19, 2019 5:25 pm https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ECWXmaFXkAE ... name=large
Regardless, the Kidd looks great!

Thinking long term......what will happen with the top section......President Robert Martin envisioned a horseshoe stadium at that time setting 18000......could the stadium be re-configured to a 200000 seat horseshoe......just reminiscing as well as thinking forward

We need to fill up it first. Before we think about expansion. #firethecannonekugrad1970 wrote:Seating capacity 20000

Re: RKS
I think if the term you're going with is "reconfigured" then the answer is definitely no. It already holds 20,000 (when all seats are open), so adding in a horseshoe would inevitably make it much larger than that. You'd have to do a total rebuild. If you look at the way the structure is built there's no way you could simply remove the top while keeping the facade intact.ekugrad1970 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 20, 2019 11:01 pm Thinking long term......what will happen with the top section......President Robert Martin envisioned a horseshoe stadium at that time setting 18000......could the stadium be re-configured to a 200000 seat horseshoe......just reminiscing as well as thinking forward
And ultimately, there's no need to increase capacity even if we do manage to go FBS at some unspecified point in the future. Our stadium is big enough.

Re: RKS
Are there any plans to repair the upper section ......or is there any reason to repair with current attendance numbers
