I just watched Murray beat #24 Texas A&M. I know rankings don’t mean much this early in the season but still! (Murray is picked 8th in the MVC)
I can’t understand how Murray is consistently better than us in bball. How do they recruit to the middle of nowhere? How do they get coaches? Do they pay more? (They have half of our enrollment.)

An unrelated point: They are playing A&M in a tournament at Coastal Carolina in a gym that would be considered a small high school gym in Kentucky. But Coastal is Sunbelt. Location, location, location

Coastal legit plays in gym not as nice as Clark Counties. But we all know Benson is going to try to build some crazy nice one soon.

Coming out of retirement here for this one, the man hasn’t posted since April and he was as regular as it gets prior to that. Very worrisome. Wish somebody could find out, maybe Jordan can email him.

I agree.

And no need to retire, Smidge. I know we're not in the same conference anymore, but I still enjoy interacting with our fellow Kentucky mid-major fans. There's nothing better than college basketball in this state. I hope we play you guys at some point in the not-too-distant future. Great win!

The current one just opened in 2012. The one before that was way worse if anyone can believe that.

The new one has a capacity pretty similar to Jax State after their renovations.

Hi Guys,

Yes I’m okay. I didn’t get Jordan’s email because I had to give up my old email account when I retired.

For some odd reason I’ve found it hard to get back into the team this year. Maybe it’s the new conference. As you know I wasn’t a big fan of the new conference. Or it could be because I don’t feel like I know all the new players. I moved out of Richmond so I haven’t seen them play in practice like in past years. The move also means I’ll not be able to go to home games. That took a lot of wind out of my sails.

I’ll still stop in at the forum every couple of weeks to see what’s new.
