Brown - First team
King - Second team
Hamilton - Coach of the Year
All OVC
Re: All OVC
The future looks bright. Brown and King will be here for 2 more years. Hamilton (the first EKU coach to win the OVC Coach of the Year award since 1986-87) will win it many more times. I’m certain Moreno will be on an All-Ohio Valley Conference Men's Basketball Team next year. And, our new recruits are highly rated.

Re: All OVC
Not sure Hamilton deserved it over some of the other coaches. Terrible non conference, below .500 record and 0-4 against the top 3 teams in conference which includes a 31 point loss to the number one seed. With that said, glad he won it. It will only help when it comes to recruiting. Hopefully more to come for him.
Really glad to see King get recognized. He had a great year and deserved it. I believe he is our best player. Brown is more talented but with all the turnovers and bad forced shots it’s hard to say Brown is our best player. If King can just stay out of flour trouble next year and we can get the ball to him more, King could have a monster year next season.

Murray State fans need to realize that you don't win coach of the year when your team blows a 27 point lead with 11 minutes to play. I would also think that Casey Alexander probably deserved it before Matt McMahon (not sure I spelled that right).
Congrats to AW. He deserved it! Glad to see you guys competing again.
