Mandy hit two HRs today. His second (12th of the year) propelled Trenton to a 4-2 victory in the 11th inning. Batting .267. This is second multi HR day this season.

Noticed they had him playing first base last night. First time this year but has played it before at the single A level. Seems to be a versatile player which is good.

Per yesterday’s edition of The Trentonian, Mandy has been placed on DL with a quad injury. He was leading the team in doubles (25), second in RBIs (54) and third in homers (11). What a bummer. Hopefully, he can return in time for the playoffs but believe quad injury takes some time to heal. Anybody know the prognosis for quad injuries?
