For those who have not yet heard, Former EKU Basketball GREAT, and Hall of Famer Peggy Gay was killed in an auto accident last night. Peggy and her husband Leon Moore were both pronounced dead at the scene near the Perry / Breathitt county line. Their two sons and family are in ours prayers.
Peggy for several years was the Girls BB coach at Breathitt, retiring last summer. After a game against UT, Lady Vols HC Pat Summitt called Peggy "one of the best players she had ever seen". One publication named Peggy the best player ever in the 14 region, Man or woman. She was sure fun to watch and will be missed.

Just seeing this. Horrible tragedy. She was a fine person, on and off the court.
