With no football game this week, the Coach’s luncheon was turned over to bball. Man, AW is excited—but when has he not been? He listed several records that we have broken over the past few years, and said that this year he wants to win the A-sun title, go to the NCAA tournament, and win a game or two there.
First though, he has another record in mind. We need to set the record for the number of season tickets sold. He encouraged us to buy extra season tickets and take them to the YMCA where they will be given to deserving kids who would love to come to an EKU game. I went over and bought a couple more season tickets in addition to my two. (They’re only $59 for the entire season for an upper level seat.) Two other people were there from the luncheon buying tickets.
And season tickets to the women’s games are only $25. I’m looking for new coach Greg Todd to turn that program around. It sounds like he has brought in some good players.
