I noticed that too. There are a lot of Christians who live in the Arabian Peninsula so I would guess the name Mohamed is a cultural name as well an Islamic name.

Here are the game notes;

David Rhudy, 6’7 Forward/Center, Christiansburg, VA / Virginia Tech University . David is an older student-athlete who is in our school’s seminary program. He came to CCU after graduating from Virginia Tech in 2000 where he played for their club program. 10 years later, he is at CCU and will have 1 year of eligibility remaining. Coach Gillespie on David: “It’s not often that a skilled 6’7 post falls in your lap from the student body, but that is what has happened to us with David. We actually became aware of David through our intramural program and were impressed with him in open gyms. He is very skilled for someone his size and works hard on the defensive end. We are excited to have the qualities he brings to our program on and off the court.”

Is there not a max age limit? I'd guess he is around 33-34 years old.

You guys dont even have the right school on this thread LOL. We are playing Cincinnati Christian College NOT the University. The team we are playing doesn't even have a website.

Greg Stotelmyer told me he felt like he was performing espionage just to find ANYTHING on these guys. I know he found some stats and maybe even a game story or two on some obscure websites from teams they had played. I am on PA tonight so I haven't worried about this game LOL

Well, I have no idea who we played tonight. The names of the players in tonight’s game are not on the rosters posted above.

The game;

1. The only stat we lost was steals. Other than that it was a blowout.
2. Johnson didn’t play due to an injury.
3. If Cruz plays like that every night, we win the OVC.
4. Perrin , Jones, Daniel and Stommes played like champions.
5. I didn’t think Jaron Jones looked very polished but he had great stats across the board.
6. It was great to see the walk-on Parsons get a basket.
7. Muff needs to learn how to hold onto the ball.
8. Filipek looks like he has a whole lot to learn before he can contribute much.

I was wrong. Who did we play? There a Cincinnati Seminary and CCU, formerly CCC. That all the Cincinnati Christian Colleges/Universities I know.
