Wasn't he a senior? It could also mean that he's moving on to the next phase of his life and doesn't intend to use the extra COVID year. He hasn't shown up in the portal yet, has he?

looking at twitter, he has no mention of EKU football on there, but also has a post 2 days ago making fun of all the people in the transfer portal. He may just be ready to move on in life, he did go through Sr day this year if I remember correctly.

Speaking of which, I saw that the same is true of Hobbs on the basketball side (who is also moving on). His daughter apparently was born this week.
