I guess he decided to do the EA NCAA football game instead.

Update: Matt said it will be out in the morning.

I read his article and it was essentially about the potential death of the WAC--which did have some good point. The WAC struggling does have a decent amount of concerns for us because the UAC. However as we mentioned in this thread previously it seems like the ASUN is at least attempting to give themselves a little greater strength. Very interested to see where it goes from here and how the UAC/WAC impact EKU and what the plan was for FBS move up (DOA). But the WAC might also find a way these conferences usually do.

yea the WAC stuff doesn't really affect EKU much. ASUN is adding West GA and if we keep the UAC together with the remaining WAC schools we will still have an auto bid

If the WAC loses SFA, there is a good possibility that ACU, UTA and Tarleton try to join the ASUN.

Say this does happen, puts the ASUN at 15. Who would 16 be? A CAA school? West Florida?

I think West Florida personally.

At that point there is no point in my opinion to keep the UAC in tact. Matt mentioned that the Utah schools would try to go to the Summit so I would guess unless the Big Sky made room for them for football, the ASUN would.

How would a 16 school conference look when it goes from the Carolinas to Texas?

Would it be a conference with a chance at multiple bids in the basketball tournament?

We are now down to only one kicker and punter after Welch and Nichols entered the transfer portal. Most likely would not need to use a backup but an extra point or onside kick could cost you a game if Nations were to get hurt.

The punter Jacob Baker was a heck of a high school kicker. Kicked 50 yard field goals in multiple games.
