Hiring the current assistant coach of a program that has not been competitive in 13 years.
Win totals the last three years have gotten progressively worse -- 15 to 13 to 5
Coming off a season with five wins and no OVC tournament
team is routinely out-coached on the court
this has been her only college coaching job. no learning experience working at a successful program

All that with the benefit of facilities that are among the best in the conference.

But she has been successful elsewhere during a playing career.

Let's be honest this job wasn't going to attract anyone good. But like Roy Kidd in football a good coach slowly hurt the program.
