Western Michigan Broncos

Western Michigan comes to town for the home opener. WMU is 1-0 on the year after a 1-0 win over NKU. They beat Wright State, wrong university, 9-0 in a scrimmage.

Last year they went 5-9-5. We have never played the Broncos before and haven't beaten a team from the MAC since 2021 when they beat NIU and Ohio.

I thought after the UK game we were really going to field a very competitive squad this season! WRONG...WMU controlled this match from start to finish!

Late in the match WMU had more SOG than we had shots for the entire match...it was basically the same at UK!

Love the FAMILY theme this squad embraces...maybe we/he should think of adopting a few players into the family!

Great crowd today...hopefully this squad can regroup and have a decent season!!!

In our defense WMU was picked 2nd in the MAC and has 7 D1 transfers. One transfer was a 4 year starter at Mississippi State
