Exciting 1st half! NIU scored earlier...less than 2 minutes into the match 
, but the Kerns held tough for the next 43 minutes!
We barely missed a goal late in the half...it was so close our great play by play man Stotelmyer called it a goal! Replay showed it just barely was over the top of the net!
The camera work by the EKU crew is excellent...far superior to any other matches I've seen our student staff cover.

Tough loss 2-1 today! Really it was two evenly matched squads...NIU just got a bit luckier than the Kerns! 
We looked good and I think this team can come back and win some matches! We substituted many players today...NIU did not! I was hoping the fatigue factor would bite NIU...unfortunately it did not!
