Re: Kennesaw State

I have a bad habit of looking back but if we could’ve pulled out that game @ Bellarmine we’d be in 1st place right now. Just a tough loss because we were in the drivers seat. Nevertheless, was one of the most fun college basketball games I’ve watched this season. Guard played was so frustrating in ...

Re: Kennesaw State

I heard AW on the post game show say Robb rolled the ankle in the first half, got it taped up and came back in the second half only to roll it again. You hope it isn’t too bad. What a great second half. 89% FT percentage!!! You can make up for poor three point shooting by getting to the line and kno...

Re: Jax St

A great win! Ray Harper coached teams always give AW a hard time for whatever reason. It was a clutch performance in a must win situation.

Re: Bellarmine

Nice win tonight. Kapiti didn't play. Best coaching move of the night by AW was going small ball with Moreno at the 5, Blanton the 4 and Robb, Comer and Walker at guard. Defense with that line up was really good. For sure the coaching decision to go small made the difference. It’s nice to see the t...

Re: Bellarmine

This is a good time to bring this up. I think this year the overall team defense is stronger because they are NOT selling out completely on the full court press. Whereas in the past 4 years, AW refused to give up on his full court pressure and if the opponent broke through, they often had an easy la...

Re: Austin Peay

A good road win. They need to validate it with another road win at Bellarmine.

Re: Lipscomb

It was good to see a game in person. I'm disappointed in the result, obviously, and it stinks that they couldn't stack on the home success with a good road effort. I was behind the bench and I can tell you the coach doesn't hold back on defensive breakdowns, of which there were many. In a timeout af...

Re: Lipscomb

I want to see if they can maintain the home momentum on the road. If they do, this team can become a dangerous opponent that no one wants to see. If they revert to playing out of control and jacking up bad shots, then it's trouble. This is where we can judge how the coaching staff performs.

Re: Stetson

I think you make good points about the improvement of Comer and Walker. Im just saying the last three games is a small sample size. These guys can go through the roof and have just started to tap into their potential. I hope they don’t have any setbacks, such as injuries or something. Buttry was off...

Re: Stetson

These guys are starting to gel and there are many reasons. But a few of them I’d like to point out are: 1) Rebounding. Eastern out-rebounded a good Stetson team by 15 today! All through the Neubauer and McHale eras and the first 4 years of Hamilton, it appeared rebounding was never emphasized and we...
