Do we have any hard evidence that *he* was putting his name out there for these jobs (other than maybe UIC)? Maybe his name has just drawn some interest.

The first two sites I checked, one newspaper and one JMU fan site (not a message board), did not list him among their roughly ten possible options each. One of them mentioned Spradlin.
