Re: JACKSONVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY

Nice win tonight. That should keep pmg and his predictions of AW being “in over his head” and “the ship is sinking in Richmond...” at bay awhile lol.

Re: Dean Hood

He has a great nucleus to start with too, not like a complete rebuild. We were competitive in more games than we won. Need somebody who knows what they’re doing down here and FINALLY be rid of the last remnants of that stupid Hal Mumme gimmick offense we’ve had to stomach for a decade.

Re: #1 Louisville

“Who me???” Lol I understood you perfectly. It’s all good it’s a messsge board not Sunday dinner ha. To be clear I posted my question for a serious discussion on the subject, not to imply you were less than for scheduling them. I just have my reasons why I wouldn’t want to, UK not really UL, and so ...

Re: #1 Louisville

“I'd be embarrassed to cheer for the team who schedules with the mentality that they're just trying to avoid getting their butt kicked. I just think that's kind of a defeatist mentality.” C’mon man! You know better than that. I’m not explaining it either, doesn’t deserve my time if you don’t “get it...

Re: Dean Hood

This has been one of the most entertaining threads I have read. I wish Coach Hood the best of the luck. I think he is hoping to turn around the program quickly and bounce to a MAC/Sunbelt HC job.(I'm pretty sure I already saw that thought on here as well) Not that there is anything wrong with Murra...

Re: #1 Louisville

It is primarily about money. It is no different than Murray accepting money for football with 2 games each against Louisville and UK in the next few years. Kinda, but we don’t play on the same level they do in football so your point is kinda apples to pears, but I agree wholeheartedly on the percep...

Re: #1 Louisville

A couple benefits I can see besides the payday are you don’t really have to travel far and if you have several in state kids they probably want to play on those courts. Just curious what y’all were thinking as a fan base.

Re: #1 Louisville

Serious question here y’all and not trying to flame your board or posters here with this question. Is it really worth the money to your program to lose big to both P6 in-state programs? What does that say and project to outsiders about your program? I can’t see it. Am I alone among you on this?

Re: Playoffs 2019

Peay represented the OVC well with two wins. But, the way Montana State physically dominated the Govs in a smash mouth sense shows us how far we have to go. Keep in mind that Montana State and the U of Montana are THE two big universities in the state of Montana. In essence they are the UL and UK o...

Re: Dean Hood

I know I'm going to catch some heat for this, but... Murray ranks higher than Eastern academically year after year (U.S. News and Rept), and they are one of the top public universities in the U.S. ok I have to put my two cents in on this. Murray is a fine school, as is Mercer or Berea College, or H...
