Stupid question number one, where is the team?
Likely at home. We need to be prepared for the prospect of no football this fall. Hope not, but we’ll have to see.

Re: Belmont OVC semis game

If we can progress as much in year three as we did in year two from year one we’ll be ok. We went a tournament drought to a first round bye and a win. That’s progress.

Re: Ovc tourney

Proud of these guys for a gutsy win tonight. Like has been noted, first win with such ugly offensive stats. Great defense. Let’s get hot tomorrow night.

I was told, back in the early 70's, that the block wall is not a load bearing wall. And, the wall could be removed if the university ever wanted to add seating. I would guess this could add maybe 1500 seats.
That is correct. Don’t it happening, though.

Re: Morehead

When AC was built, its design capacity was 6,500. Some seats were lost when chairbacks were moved to the other side of the floor. Then seats were gained when the floor level seats were added. It’s only a guess, but I suspect it’s back close to the original 6,500. I’m surprised there were apparently ...

Re: McHale

I knew he was there. That doesn't really surprise me. We're talking about a guy who was well-liked as an assistant at Seton Hall and Minnesota. He knows the game. I just think he struggled with certain aspects of managing an entire roster of players. Like getting the ball in bounds under pressure.

Re: McHale

Interesting spin. I wish him no ill will and hope he does well. Fact remains that AW has accomplished something McHale never could.

Re: Tennessee State

This will be the most important home game in years. We are already in the tournament, but a win tomorrow night gives us a lock on the fourth seed and a first round bye. This team has made some of my early season comments look pretty silly, and, boy, am I happy about that!

Re: NSD News

i may not even be up to Walt. the kid may get time over this one, assaulting a police officer is a BIG deal. (As it should be). My understanding is that assulting a police officer is a class C felony and carries a sentence of 1 -15 Agreed. That’s why I’m preaching patience with Wells on this one I ...
