Re: matt roan
I love that Dan was named interim yesterday! He loves EKU and I would not at all be averse to him getting the role full time! But if he doesn’t want it, I agree that there are many bright young Assistant ADs out there who would jump at the chance to come here and kickstart things.

[quote=Colonel12 post_id=44597 time=1715651935 user_id=176] I hear disgraced UK coach Dan Berezowitz is replacing him. 😳😳 Uhhhh. If true, not sure how I feel about this. Well, I DO know how I feel but I’m going to hold my tongue before commenting on what is a rumor at t...

Re: Is The Program Shaky?
We have to get past the Funderburke disaster and play catch up……that means more effort and money…..hope the new AD and bring more ideas, new innovation and creativity We're already raising and spending at record levels. Getting substantially more many is easier said than done. It’s the catching up ...

Re: Is The Program Shaky?
I want to be sure, I try VERY hard not to be negative. I will always support this program, it is in my blood literally. I’m a two time graduate of EKU, wife graduated from there, family, etc. But I also won’t shy away from calling out missteps. Agree with above, it is not in shambles but it IS a mak...

Re: Is The Program Shaky?
The budget situation is not looking better. Richmond Register has an article about it. Lots of blame aimed at Frankfort at the legislature but I will say it would be interesting to see how top heavy EKU is in administration salaries. I never want to actively push for people to lose their jobs, contr...

Re: Is The Program Shaky?
100% should be football based. Front porch programs here are football and basketball. AC getting $30m plus renovations. And AW is the highest paid coach on campus. Thanks Lochmueller. I wouldn’t have a problem with it if he were getting to the tournament and getting the NCAA money but…. As for Wells...

Re: Is The Program Shaky?
In my opinion there’s a few things that need to happen to make the program more attractive to quality coaches/GAs/QCs, besides the obvious facilities upgrades needed. If I’m the new AD, I’m looking at laying out a plan similar to the below: 1) Take one (or even two) of the houses EKU owns along Summ...

Re: Is The Program Shaky?
I don’t see us going the no scholarship route. Not really. And the lack of the bill passing to allow EKU to open a medical school is likely tied to the bunch of idiots in Frankfort being all in on UK and UL, and to a smaller extent, WKU due to the amount of manufacturing jobs in the immediate vicini...
