The staff changes involved three individuals who were promoted to assistant athletics directors.
RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University Director of Athletics Stephen Lochmueller announced three staff changes today.
Three individuals were promoted to assistant athletics directors. Kirk Moats is now assistant athletics director for compliance and student success after serving previously as director of compliance. Rachel Park is assistant athletics director for marketing, in addition to serving in the role as senior woman administrator (SWA). Dusty Ridner, who previously served in the position of athletics business manager, is now assistant athletics director for business operations.
Moats first joined the Eastern Kentucky athletics department in September 2014 as the athletics compliance coordinator. He holds a master’s degree from EKU.
Park, a 2006 EKU graduate, returned to Richmond in 2013 as the athletics marketing director. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Louisville. Park was selected as EKU’s senior woman administrator in June of 2017.
After serving as an intern in the Eastern Kentucky athletics department for two years, Ridner was hired in 2017 as compliance coordinator and game operations assistant. He holds an accounting degree and a master’s of business administration from EKU.
