Personally I think Shaun Cole is the right man for the job. The fact anybody thinks differently is hard for me to comprehend. Look at his track record.

No doubt he is extremely qualified. And EKU would be in good shape with him. But Fanning is nothing to scoff at either. He was responsible for bringing in those 3 consecutive top 10 recruiting classes for Mingione at UK. Has a really good record himself helping turn around Arkansas-Little Rock, etc. I don’t think we can go wrong with either choice. Exciting times when we have people of this caliber wanting to coach here!

According to D1Baseball, the main candidates for EKU head baseball coach are: Assistant Shaun Cole, Southern HC Kerrick Jackson, and former Pit HC Joe Jordano
