I see that Florida Gulf Coast, Queens and Jacksonville, all ASun teams, accepted invitations to play in the CBI. I would have to think the CBI asked EKU to play and were turned down. It was probably a financial decision, which I can understand, or it could have been they didn't have enough players available to compete. Either way, it's a disappointing end to this season, after we saw that flash of good play with 8 straight wins. I sure hope they can find some good players for next season.
