FGCU ASUN Semi Finals

The EKU women's basketball team plays the top seeded Eagles from Florida Gulf Coast tomorrow. Tip off is at 6:30. Eastern probably played them the closest of any team a few weeks ago but it's still going to be an uphill battle. The ESPN analytics has us at a 6.4% chance of wining. But that's why it's called March Madness. Would really love to see the ladies make the NCAA tournament! Need this win and one more.

Great first quarter but got outplayed the last three quarters. We shall see if there is any post season.

At times this season we played well in the 1st half only fo run out of gas in the 2nd half!

I hope we do get a bid to the WNIT. Don't know if our Resume will pass the smell test!

Significant FGCU news: newly hired Chelsea Lyles is stepping down as HC after taking over the job from Karl Smesko after he left for the WNBA. I hope this means the FGCU dynasty is finally over, but they can recruit pretty well with their team history.
