You had to think this was a possibility. He transferred in after a great year at a lower-level program, so there's no reason to believe we couldn't be on the other end of the same transaction. It's a shame he couldn't finish this year healthy. I was hoping he'd be inspired by seeing a five-year guy like Blanton embrace his legacy at EKU, but there's a reason Blanton stands out. It isn't the norm these days.

Regardless, I wish him well. I suppose there's always a chance he could be talked into returning still...though I'm not holding my breath.
