Anyone else planning to go? This will be the first game I've made in person this year.

Will be there. NKU put out a bogo coupon on tickets so got a good deal. Hopefully NKU becomes a yearly opponent.

NKU fan forum;

http://www.norsefans.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=2

They expect to win. Here's a post from their forum;

"- EKU not a great shooting team. Only 45.6% on 2-pointers (283rd in the nation).
- Not a good defensive team. Allows 38.7% on threes (285th nationally) and cause very few turnovers. Only turn opponents over 15.2% of the time (333rd nationally)."

NKU beat Morehead 86-49. Do I recall correctly - didn't we think about hiring their coach ( Brannen ) when we hired McHale?

Yes. Brannon was on staff with Neubauer at one point.

I'm watching the feed through ESPN 3. NKU is a solid team, but it's one we can beat. In the first half we're giving up way too many offensive rebounds.

Another observation: the team defense is sooo much better when Tay Weaver is in the game. It's an unexpected joy to have Weaver after we thought he was out for the season. I hope bev can stay healthy

Mayo with only 3 points at the half?

And why is a little EKU guard always covering the big NKU center. It's killing us.

Now in the second half, the Norse are showing why they are a well coached team. They made adjustments and are passing with a purpose on the offensive end. They are also killing us on the offensive boards.

Right now EKU is getting their butts whipped by NKU.

I wish we had hired Brannon instead of McHale.
