I think that's the best guess for starters. People will say Boyd in there and it still might happen but in my eyes it would be better for him to be instant offense off the bench. Anybody else see that we are a 2 point favorite tonight? Away from home against a C-USA opponent not sure how to feel about that. Biggest thing I am looking for going into this season is will we do the right thing and run most of the offense through Mayo even though we seem to have more talent? At times last year we would go stretches and he wouldn't even touch it, with his passing ability the kid needs to have the ball in his hands as much as possible, double team or not.

Why is it that Avare can do this, and has done it many times in the past, in a pregame shoot around (from half court with his back to the basket) and yet when the game starts he misses most of his shots from the 3 point arc? Is it game time panic, a defender in his face, or is a half court shot with your back to the basket easier than a 3 point shot, or something else?
