What in the heck is going on, this thing gets more out of control by the day. I don't see how there is not a minimum a suspension with pay for the time till what ever investigation they are doing is complete, the look of doing nothing is really bad even if they are doing things behind the scenes

Seen this from another former player who said they reported this same stuff years ago and nothing happened.

A ”review”? The same “review” you’ve conducted for nearly 13 years? The one you started in 2009 when these same allegations arose during my tenure? Frankly, I am sure it started before that. Regardless, your “review” is contacting student athletes and coaches who support this coach to prove your positioning on why the coach remains in her job- that is hardly an investigation.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

I’ve seen more comments about this article from past players who had the same experience than I have from players who believe their career under this coach was a successful one. I am one of those players who had a mirror image experience as this young lady. We TRIED to address this problem when I was there, but the EKU Athletic department turned a blind eye to the issue. It is time for change.

Eastern Kentucky University what are you doing about this? EKU Colonels what are you doing about this? Whether the abuse is able to be proved or not, are you really going to continue employing a coach who has the allegations?

I would like to hear from an attorney who knows about laws that cover situations like this. Perhaps EKU for legal reasons cannot move as quickly as we (me included) want them to.

I hope that the university’s delay is due to facts of which we are unaware and that the EKU I love is not acting as carelessly and heartlessly as it appears they are.

Sounds like none of the previous ADs (Lochmueller or Sandy) dealt with her since it sounds like it goes far back in her tenure.

Exactly. This isn't fully on Roan, but I do wonder if he knew during his first stint with EKU. He is the one that MUST fix it now or he will be held responsible.
