Having refereed years ago, I know that officials are an imperfect lot who make mistakes, but the ref in our Villanova game was the worst I have ever seen in reversing obviously correct calls. Gutless, biased and clueless. We didn't make the plays to win the game, but today's ref should never wear a white cap in any game. Go Colonels!

Agree he was horrible. Even the Villanova broadcast crew on ESPN+ disagreed with his reversal of the scoop and score.

For what it's worth, I am at least under the impression that ESPN provides the announcers for FCS playoff coverage. it's not the typical school-produced stuff they air throughout the season I don't think.

First round attendance.
For reference the attendance for our home playoff game two years ago was shown as 4973.

First I would like to say I'm sorry for your game against the Refs yesterday. EKU should have won that game but someone had to pull strings and help that not happen.

Second, now there is no doubt in my mind that the UAC should have had another playoff spot, Southern Utah should have been there too. The CAA is a junk conference. The UAC as it stands is no doubt one of the 3 best conferences in FCS. If the UAC stays together I think it will only get better.

Again, tough way to go out, I was pulling for our UAC brethren.

They were clearly regular Villanova announcers. They knew then chapter and verse.

In an article in today’s Richmond Register Coach Wells is quoted as saying, “I wish I could be honest. I really do. My mom and dad always told me to be honest, but I’m going to choose to not use my words.“

I heard him say that from a question in the news conference after the game.
