I'm OK with that, particularly if it's integrated closer to the
"crowd", as opposed to across the field.

There's lots of whining on Facebook about this...I just wonder
how many whiners attended our games, belong(ed) to the Colonel Club,
or contributed to the school in general.

I'd bet very few.

I don't know enough about the situation to say much, and I realize you can't spend money that you don't have, but I wish the powers that be at the state level could have found other places to slash the budget. It seems that educational institutions on all levels in the state are taking major hits.

The way I read it the pep band will be for basketball and volleyball only. It says athletics will be responsible for music at football. Sounds like a dj to me.

Sounds plausible. I didn't see the release; likely music over the speakers like an NFL game.
