That field looked to be in bad shape. I guess with those 2 storms they're lucky to get it ready for these matches!

EKU RPI is 167th. Lipscomb is 129th. FGCU led the ASUN at 102.

Trying to see historical RPI data for NCAA soccer is hard. Looking at the previous year bracket Morehead State played the #1 overall seed in round 1 with a RPI of 191. What's interesting is there were 3 teams in the NCAA tourney with a lower RPI. Even more interesting was Grambling had the lowest RPI at 242 but played a 2 seed. Central Connecticut was at 195 and also got a 2 seed. My guess is keeping the brackets regional as much as possible but still does not make sense sending MSU to Tallahassee instead of Grambling who is in the south as well.

Last year FGCU played 2 seed Texas Tech with a RPI of 160.


All that said depending on if we play a 1 seed or 2 seed our opponents could be Arkansas, UNC, or Wake Forest if they keep us relatively close.
